Perfect place to stop for one night in our way to Greece. In fact is a place where you can relax for more days. So nice, quiet, delicious food and a very,very nice lady which welcome us, thank you! We will come back for sure!

We had a very nice, quiet, and pleasant getaway stay at Villa Ostrilia. The house is stylishly renovated and offers everything you need for a short, peaceful vacation away from the crowds. The heating worked perfectly, and even on cold winter nights, the house was warm. The hosts are very welcoming and caring. We will definitely visit again.

I must say that all the reviews are reflecting the truth: incredible place; welcoming host; cleanliness 10/10. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the barbecue zone just fabulous. Zero noise - only the river is giving you the feeling of complete relax. P.S. Thank you so much for the breakfast - it was amazing!

We were welcomed like old friends even though this was the first time we were visiting the place. The room was very spacious and very warm (weather outside was cold). The dinner was amazingly delicious, compliments to the chef! Truth is that the area of Etropole totally exceeded my expectations. We found an amazing track nearby that led us to a monastery and waterfall. We came across the Sunday market and bought some delicious groceries for a very good price. I would definitely recommend everybody to stop by.

The staff are absolutely marvellous and so helpful! Theodora is fluent in English and was a great help to us as we do not speak Bulgarian. The cleaning ladies, the restaurant staff, and the management who attend to the pool, are all wonderful, cheerful, and extremely hardworking people. The breakfast and other food served in the restaurant is fabulous. The setting amongst the forested mountains with the fast flowing river running alongside the hotel is superb, and everything is kept spotlessly clean and well maintained. We loved the swimming pool and made good use of it. The TV has a lot of channels so we could watch the Wimbledon tennis on it. They quickly fixed things when the end stop on the curtain rail broke and the curtain came partially off the rail. The owner's red Shelby Cobra 5 litre V8 Ford Mustang is a sight to see and hear when he fires it up!
