The hotel is located alongside the road running past Cristalina, but it did not feel too noisy or busy. The area behind the hotel is farmland, and very nice to view from the room windows. The staff were very nice, and gave us some nice ideas for things to do in the area. The breakfast was a plentiful and delicious spread - the fresh, warm, pao de queijo was among the best we have had in Brazil, and the lady who made them was so friendly. The room was simple but comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there. Upon driving around the town we saw lots of other hotels but none of them looked as nice as Catavento.

Very unsafe left my things in a room a some amount of of money gone, I spoke with the owner about the meter ,only words from him is nothing I can do ,even said I m sorry for you loss he didn’t say,he just said do what you have to do ,report to the police if wish, I told him he can check the 2 cameras outside my room he just answered nothing I can do ,not gonna help if I check , can’t do nothing,he asked if I left the keys at reception I said one day only when water flood my room came from the room upstairs. Anyway if anyone stays there just be careful with with money and valuable things
