Great attention paid to breakfast. Pousada grounds & pool area clean and well maintained. Had a car so getting around the tourist sites was easy. Just a lovely place to relax and recharge at.

    SJdR looks amazing on internet pictures, but the city is poorly maintained and the cafes, bars and restaurants are very expensive by Brazilian standards. There are many aggressive beggars, so be mindful of where your park you car.

    This is a lovely posouda. It is very clean, well maintained, the rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, the environment is very pleasant, the staff are lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The patio area around the pool is very pleasant. Unlike far too many places I have stayed in in Brazil, it is true value for money. The only downside is it is a long distance from cafes, restaurants and Sao Joao Del Rei, so a car is essential.

    It’s a really nice hostel, with beautiful outdoor space and a pool. It’s perfectly located in the old part of town in possibly the prettiest street in Sao Joao! It’s very nicely renovated, beds were super comfortable and you could actually sit on a bottom bunkbed! Dorm where I stayed was very spacious as well. Breakfast was AMAZING! Such a big selection! And the Volunteers were the nicest people ever! Highly recommended!!!

    Edi foi muito gentil e me deu dicas do que fazer no local, as instalações são super confortáveis ​​e limpas, bem tranquilo, adorei a vista da igreja. Longe da cidade, você tem que ir primeiro para San João del Rei e isso é cerca de 25 no ônibus que passa na esquina, e de lá pegar outro ônibus para Tiradentes.

    I loved everything. The breakfast was amazing! The staff super attentive, we could keep the bags there after and they gave us each a bottle of water for the trip. A great location and great decor. I love, love, love São João del Rei.
