We spent several days as a family of four (girls ages 9 and 6). The old farm house is beautiful and exceptionally well renovated. The farm grounds are great for roaming and we loved swimming at the large pond.

We were there on a Monday night - be aware that many of the local restaurants are closed on Mondays/Tuesdays. We drove to Hearts restaurant in Kimberly for dinner which was EXCELLENT (not inexpensive, but the food was fantastic). We were very glad that the restaurant attached to Leela's Villa (but run by a third party) was open for breakfast and lunch. They serve great food too - what I would call the perfect "truck stop" breakfast (and I mean that in the most favourable way). Homemade home fries, so good! Perfect breakfast before a big day of hiking.
