Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000 islands on the Canadian side. The town had some nice restaurants. The Old English Pub, Purple House and Grayson's at Wood View Inn. took a 5 Hour tour with City Cruises of the 100 Island with a stop at Boldens castle from the docks in town. It was fantastic. Gananoque offers a lively street scene for visitors well into the evening. Lots of pubs and restaurants to dine and hang out in, do people watching and enjoy the view if you're on the water.
