Guelph is a mid-sized city, with every amenity you could need. Local College, and a Tim Horton's everywhere. Truthfully, I stay there as it is the closest place to find a room when the Fergus Highland Games happen in early August. Usually don't have a chance to do much but what I have seen of the city definitely makes me want to spend more time exploring in the future. Lots of nature trails, hiking and biking seem to exist there.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Guelph is a University city.
Guelph is a University city. A large percentage of young people in the streets make it very vivid. You can tell it is a place to live here rather than to commute to Toronto. We enjoyed the University Arboretum. In the two evenings we stayed in Guelph, we visited two different Greek restaurants and were happy with the meals and service. Elora Gorge conservation area is about a 20-minute drive away. We did not visit it this time, but maybe next time.Guest review byAllaCanada
