United StatesThe breakfast had a big variety of items and they were very good. Our room #113 was very nice with every imaginable convenience. We haven’t skied in years, but I have never seen ski boot dryers in a room before. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. The weather was beautiful for our Glacier Sky Walk adventure.

My experience in the Junior Suite matched the description on the website in every way. It was newly renovated, very comfortable, spotless-clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the kitchenware needed. The balcony offered a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. There is a beautiful hiking trail to Lake Louise from the hotel which I highly recommend! But there are also busses running to get to the lake for 2$. Thanks for a wonderful time, especially to Karen and Carlos at the front desk!

It's a quiet place located in the park, near the railway.
We enjoyed the jacuzzi, the (gas) fireplace and the chalet-style room.
Rooms were very clean.

I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. The Lake access can be difficult due to the massive crowds Lake Louise, such that hundreds of people walk 1-2 miles uphill just to get to the lake, because parking lot is full by 8:00 AM. As someone who visited Lake Louise in 2007 the experience was different at that time we could drive right up to the hotel and that makes it a difficult for people with disabilities. We loved sitting out by the campfire, reading in our room with the doors open and cooking dinner on the BBQ. It was such an easy 15 minute drive to Lake Louise too. We were lucky enough to see a moose cow with her calf in the forest on our drive in. It is also easy to walk to Lake Louise from the Prost hotel (4km up hill). The hotel feels very comfortable and the staff and great. The rooms are big and the beds are really comfy.
