It is a small city in a beautiful location along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. It has a long history of producing pottery, bathroom and kitchen porcelain fixtures, as well as high-quality bricks. There are more than 100 kilometres of walking and bike paths along the river and through the hills. The city is a major shopping hub for the area and has all of the big box stores, a thriving light industry, and farm suppliers. It has some ot the best year-round climate in Canada. I booked a room with a queen bed but when I checked in...
I booked a room with a queen bed but when I checked in around mid night the receptionist told me that they were fully booked. They didn't have a queen bed so either I had to stay in the room with a double bed or if don't like them I Had to go somewhere else. as it was midnight I didn't have a choice so I stayed.
