This is the coziest and most unusual place my husband and I've been to. The decor of the hotel transports you back to the past, and that's exactly what you need if you're tired of modern bustling city life. We felt at home sitting around the fire, listening to music and playing chess. The owner is such a nice person. He's always there to talk to and help you, but he also leaves you alone to let you rest. In the morning, he made us breakfast, and I'd never eaten such a delicious hotel breakfast before. The whole experience was far beyond our expectations.

Lovely large room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Hotel was clean and bright. Continental breakfast was fine. Staff were very helpful.

Beautiful setting , wonderful staff and rustic but well maintained! Loved the pool and the view of the river and birds ! Breakfast wonderful lovely waitress, very pleasant!

If you want to stay in an 150 year old house which is in perfect shape, very nicely/ individually decorated and run by super nice landlords, then this is the pace to go. You will get a feeling how wealthy people in earlier days were living. Having breakfast in their living room is spectacular. Staying there is worth every dollar. Just go and enjoy.

Very friendly owners. Room was very clean. If we needed anything we would help us out. More towels and coffee were brought to room. Kettle and tea were there for me. 😊 Great parking. Really happy there was a Bible in the bedside. 🙏

Very clean and quiet. Soft and clean beds with extra pillows available. The cost for a weekend with taxes was just over $200. Excellent rate that left money for eating out...shopping all the many thrift shops and parking at the gorgeous beaches.

This motel is located across the street from the Goderich Tourism Information Office and a restaurant. It is 5 minutes’ walk from the Park Theatre. It offers rooms with cable TV and wired internet.
