Great property with a large deck, bbq, fire pit and private dock. Beautiful views of the lake through the large glass doors. Kitchen is fully stocked. There is also a newly renovated indoor bathroom with tub/shower. The host is very friendly and responsive. Easy self check-in with entry code.

Amazing location right next to the lake. Comfortable and clean with lots of activities like kayaking and canoeing. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us great recommendations of things to do nearby.
We loved Sand Lake and the privacy of the beach was amazing.
We loved Sand Lake and the privacy of the beach was amazing. There was a fire pit and access to a paddle boat, canoes and kayaks. The restaurant was closed for most of our stay Monday and Tuesday but opened Wednesday morning and we enjoyed one of the best breakfasts we have ever been served. Worst was we got seriously lost (2.5) driving around the lake as there is no cell signal for Rogers or Fido in the area. We should have had a back-up hard copy map and I really wish Nick would have emailed us or advised us about the no cell or internet signal. Also no wifi service in the restaurant, motel or A/C in the room. It was our 43rd anniversary so quite a disappointment. We had to find another accommodation for the third night as I had an important Zoom Zoom business meeting. The owner, Nick had told us he would upgrade our motel room to a cabin at least for the Monday evening and when we arrived it was not available. Without a stove, pots, etc we couldn't heat up our dinner and had nothing to eat but snacks because everything was closed in the area by 8:00 (so late because we got lost for 2.5 hours). Five hour drive which should only have been 2.25 hrs according to Google Maps. We advised the on-site manager the first day that we would have to check out because there was no Wi-Fi, I later contacted the owner and asked for a refund of the third night and to add injury to insult he refused. So of course we will never return to Sand Lakes Inn but there are many other reputable and honest resorts and Inns on the Lake which we do plan to enjoy in the future.
