White Haus is a great property. We found it to be very clean, well equipped, comfortable, spacious for three people, and great value for the price. It made an excellent home-like base for our visit to Ucluelet. Highly recommended!

Owners were friendly and engaging when contacted. Easy check in and check out is AwesomeLocation was good. There was a closet present as I did not see it because bathroom door hid when open it hence second survey.

    Ucluelet is a beautiful town on the Pacific Ocean on Vancouver Island. There are beaches close by (the water is pretty cold, though) and many places to hike. We found that Ucluelet is much less touristy than Tofino. So if you like the touristy stuff, Tofino may be a better place for you. The whole area is surrounded by natural beauty.

    Great wilderness areas and plenty of walking trails to do, the wild pacific and lighthouse loop is recommended. Lots of eating options and the Uccy brewery was excellent. A very rugged / dramatic coastline.

    Ucluelet if a fine example of a small fishing town that has reinvented itself over a number of years. There is a very young vibe there due to young families moving in and outdoor sports like surfing being the main attractions for same.

    Our hotel was within walking distance of the town centre.

    Our hotel was within walking distance of the town centre. We ate at the hotel and the hotel pub and at an excellent local restaurant called Frankie's. It is easy to walk and drive around the village. Activities include touring of Pacific Rim National Park, hiking, surfing, and many other activities. It is a great area for people of all ages who are active and like the outdoors.

    so many beaches and wild coastline to explore! We only stayed one night but made the most of it by seeing the town, checking out the Foggy Bean for great coffee and doing some big beach hikes around the Lighthouse. But could’ve done with 1 more night to see a few more spots.

    I had been many years since I had last been in Ucluelet.

    I had been many years since I had last been in Ucluelet. The town is still charming as ever. They have improved the roads and walkways. Lots of dining options. Lots of accommodations to choose from if you book in advance. Beautiful setting with a calm, sheltered harbour on one side, and a wild temperate rainforest/craggy shoreline and surf on the other. A must do is the Wild Pacific Trail.

    It was clean, comfortable, spacious and had almost everything except for a stove and full oven. We brought along our multi-functional rice cooker to prepare meals which worked well for our family. The house felt very welcoming and at such good value compared to the other motels and cottages in Ucluelet. It is also close to Big Beach which is another bonus.

    Very spacious room. Super comfortable beds. Nicely stocked kitchenette. Loved that they had "quiet times". The desk staff were very helpful. I would recommend anyone planning to visit Ucluelet or Tofino to stay here. Tofino is too busy. Ucluelet is the place to be and West Coast Motel is the place to stay.

    Wonderful location, great staff, fantastic lunch from the restaurant in the hotel. Enjoyed the Pacific West Trail being so close to take our beagle for a walk. Room was spectacular, views to enjoy from living room windows and bedroom. Awesome bathtub and rain shower.
