I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Zeit & Traum, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've stayed in hotels across nearly 40 countries, and this one easily ranks in my top three. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and beautifully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the breathtaking view overlooking the lake—simply stunning. While the location itself may not be the most central, the incredible view more than makes up for it. You truly feel like you're in a tranquil, scenic paradise. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Their genuine smiles, constant attentiveness, and eagerness to help made our experience unforgettable. A standout feature was the ever-present snacks and fruits, which were promptly refilled whenever they ran out. The attention to detail and level of care was remarkable. This level of customer service is hard to come by these days, and Hotel Zeit & Traum delivered it in spades. In short, this hotel combines a fantastic view with world-class service. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, with a view that takes your breath away, and staff that treats you like family, Hotel Zeit & Traum is the place to be.

Beatenberg/Interlaken was our last stop in Switzerland and our stay at Hotel Fassbind was perfect. The breakfast was superb (everything was fresh). The view from our rooms was stunning. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Although the place was a bit old, it was charming. The furniture was all beautiful and vintage. Our host, Dani, was very friendly and warm. He made us feel at home at his place. It was like staying with a friend. The property was a 25-min bus ride from Interlaken. The bus rides were free because we had guest cards. There's a nearby trekking trail that we explored one morning. Stunning views of the lake and the mountains. (Bonus: Dani's dog, Heidi, is the most adorable thing you'll ever see.)

High high above the clouds there is a charming and very special hotel.  The hotel owners are so nice and welcome you warmly.  The room is large and very clean and the view from the room is outstanding.  Breakfast is very good and we also had dinner which was very tasty.  The hotel is located 10 kilometers up the mountain, whoever is booking the hotel should know this.

Staff was extremly friendly and supportive. The view is amazing. It is very quite place with no noises outside. Food is nice, a la card even for few people. Prices are absolutely fine for this location. Very nice expirience overall!

The location is very good, and the views exceeded the expectations. The staff is very friendly. The bus stop (stop name Waldegg) is just outside the hotel, which makes it super accessible.If you have to leave early before 08:00 AM then let the staff know or you can open the main gate with your room key also.

Nice location. I was traveling for work to the Beatenberg area. The area was alittle remote but nice views of the Swiss Alps. The heating, hot water and appliances were all working. So, we were comfortable. The apartment was clean. The designated parking space worked well. The apartment had brooms and a vacuum which were a plus for a 5 day stay. Cushions for the furniture on the porch were also provided. Soap, shampoo and towels were provided. Sheets and pillows cases were nice. Wifi worked well and had password protection.

    Hotel is fair. Nice view and off the tourist are Big dissapointmnet was i left an airpillow in the room and asked them to mail it back to me. They agreed for a fee which i duly wired and paid but never receive the pillow Big dissapointment Esp when i showed them the wire transfer as well

    We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in...

    We heard that Beatenberg is the "longest" town in Switzerland. There are 11 stops made by bus 101. We wanted to not be in the midst of the hustle/bustle of Interlaken and Beatenberg and Hotel Gloria supposed our expectations in quiet environment, awesome views of Lake Thun and exceptional friendly service staff.

    The views were amazing, the staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was perfect. The breakfast was spectacular, the room, the food the service. The only thing we were disappointed with was the dinner. Very overpriced for the quality of food and service. Our kids' schnitzel was so yellow and my dinner came 15 mins after everyone else's, so everyone was already done by the time I got my food.

    Small village, looks like we arrived not in the season time as the city was empty and nothing was working except 3 restaurant for whole place. View is amazing but for activities we had to drive down to Interlaken

    we have stayed in Beatenberg many times over the last 30years, it is a beautiful place to stay, unfortunately our last stay was dreadful due to the hotel, we had booked for a week, we only stayed the one night then booked a hotel in Interlaken as it was so bad

    A quiet neighbourhood not far from the sites around the Interlaken area. Unbeatable views, and a lovely drive. With the tourist tax, our hotel gave us free public tickets and access to the local pool - fantastic!

    Me and wife stayed 4nights at this property. The property is located in the most Beautiful Swiss village beatenberg. Incredible views everywhere, we’ve got a room with a balcony view. The property owners Daniel and Linda were very hardworking and took care of us really well! In Interlaken we’ve been to jungfrau mountain and hard Klum, both are commercial sites with a lot of tourists but beatenberg beats them all! What an experience!! We will return.

    The view from the balcony was fantastic. They ordered gluten free bread rolls for breakfast especially for me and the other food was good to either plenty of options. The bus stop is right outside their door. The bed was comfortable and water pressure very good. Easily accessible by bus (Postauto 101) from Interlaken and 10min connection to Beatenberg cable car station.

    They have the best breakfast I have ever seen in European hotels. It has a lot of variety and the food is delicious. The hotel has a superb view. We went there in winter so when the lake was cloudy, it felt like we were flying over the clouds, which I'm sure will be unforgetable for our daughter :))

    The Chinese manager and his family and all stuff are very great person's. I will advise all my friends to stay in the same hotel in the lovely place beatenberg. He accept early check in for us and have given free breakfast for the arriving day as a complement.
