The hotels provide superb service, from booking to the wonderful, friendly & knowledgeable staff on arrival to the property. My dining experience did not disappoint. Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.

The hotel location, rooms, breakfast and bar all make the stay enjoyable. The friendly and helpful staff are commendable. The lake view from the hotel is peaceful. It is in a quiet location and with its own funicular, it is very easy to get to the center. We will definitely go back for a longer stay.

    This city is a short distance from Lucerne.

    This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.

    It's a very lovely hotel, location is perfect right in front of the lake. 10 minutes for a lovely walk from the Hergiswil train station to the hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Oh and it's only 2 stations away to the Alpnachstad Pilatus station.

    The pool/spa facilities were very nice and not too crowded. The breakfast was available for a long time and offered an excellent selection, even providing gluten-free items. The hotel is well-located within the town and even our lower-cost room had a good view of the lake.

    The hotel is great! Very clean, very nice and helpful staff, the room perfect (with a terrace looking at the lake), bed very comfortable and the bathroom really good. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices.
