The natural beauty of the spectacular property the hotels are situated on is simply amazing. The hotels provide superb service, from booking to the wonderful, friendly & knowledgeable staff on arrival to the property. My dining experience did not disappoint. I enjoyed the delectable freshness of each meal & the delightful presentation. My room was spacious, clean & quite modern with an amazing alpine view. Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.

    It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans.

    It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans. You can easily get the train to Luzern or Engelberg and visit the Stanserhorn bahn or the Titlis bahn. Where you can ski, take in the beautiful views or do some walking. It is by the lake and there are some good restaurants close by and also by the lake with lovely views and good pizza! you can also take a nice walk around the lake too.

    Very friendly and helpful staff Close to town Their own bakery and restaurant Mega delicious breakfast buffet Quality of food was the best Cheese and buendnerfleisch Birchermuesli was a hit And so was the ruehrei The cremeschnitten from their own bakery And the pralines were also excellent And gluten free Zwiebelkuchen a hit Parking a little small but okay So was the washroom ...not much space Noisy road baustelle Aber sehr nettes personal So all in all super happy We will be back

    Lovely old fashioned hotel on the banks of Lake Lucerne with terraces and views. Good parking and pet friendly! The room was a junior suite, spacious with a large balcony....close to some shops, restaurants and walks...very good hotel pizza restaurant opposite. Good breakfast. About a 20 minute drive to Lucerne.
