Located just around the corner of the main square, this is a great little hotel. The room was very clean, with comfortable beds and a good shower and enough space for two. The Wi-Fi worked fine. The staff were really helpful, including providing breakfast at 3.30am! Breakfast was cheese, ham, yoghurt, oat cereal, bread, cake and tea and coffee. It was on a quiet street, or at least it was quiet on a Sunday afternoon/overnight. There is the facility to sit in a small courtyard out back although we didn’t make use of this. I would definitely stay here again if I was in Combarbala.

We were absolutely amazed and overwhelmed by the unique dome-style design of the apartment. The architecture is not only extraordinary but also creates a very special atmosphere. The apartment spanned an entire floor, providing plenty of space and comfort. We would especially like to highlight the hospitality of the hosts – they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. A true highlight for anyone looking for something extraordinary and who values warm hospitality. We will definitely come back!

Combarbalá is a very small yet extremely charming town, tucked away from the mainstream. The locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the stay especially pleasant. A definite highlight is the observatory, which we highly recommend to anyone visiting. You get the chance to look at the stars yourself through the telescopes, not just watch the scientists work. A unique experience that opens up a glimpse into the vastness of the universe!

We needed a place to stay in between travelling from Santiago to further up north, and this was perfect, as I could not find other places as comfortable along ruta 5. Just be mindful it´s not very close to ruta 5, I think it takes another hour or so from Ruta 5 to get to the location. It seems nice for star gazing, as there is very little light pollution, but we did not have the chance to do this as we only stayed the night and left early morning after breakfast, which was simple but very satisfying.
