We thought the location was closer to the highway, but found out it was closer to the center of the city. The parking of the hotel is right in front of the entrance or also in the underground parking that is free for the guests. The staff were all very helpful, accommodating and always smiling. The complimentary drinks including coffee on our (each?) floor was really appreciated especially with cold and hot filtered water. The room was huge and we had a view to the river that was nice. Definitely will stay again if happens!

    A "Hidden gem".

    A "Hidden gem". Volcano country is about an hour's drive from the city, through a rural countryside that is well worth seeing. There are many lakes, where the locals constantly visit for outdoor camping, sailing and hiking (the water is too cold for swimming). A surprising ethnic mix of peoples (Spanish, Chinese, German and indigenous "Indian") with accompanying blend of architectural styles and their enclaves, and a blend of food choices that can be enjoyed by almost everyone. Our stay at the Sonesta Hotel was fabulous, with personal service everywhere and very comfortable accommodations. But be certain to bring an adapter for the outlets.

    What a wonderful surprise! We didn't know where to stay in Osorno as we didn't know the city, but this hostal is everything we needed. Yes, it is a bit far from the center BUT it's super easy to come and go with a Uber ride. Jessica is so nice (and so is her family). The breakfast was really good and appreciated. Thank you for this wonderful stay!
