guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.Guest review byElly MonikaGermany - 6.0

Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here. Guilin has lively night shopping area and full of restaurants. It has a lake and it is ok to walk around at night and look at the pagodas. There is a famous cave nearby. I personally find Guilin to be good for overnight stay to catch the cruise ship to Yangshuo but I will not stay longer to explore the city.Guest review bycelineUnited Kingdom - 10.0

People like tranquil and beautiful sceneries will love to visit Guilin. Also, the local food streets give you big selection of food selection. An outstanding restaurant I would like to bring it up is, Ah Kim Chinese restaurant. They provided us with free fish food so that we could feed the goldfish by the lake, which was really an interesting experience. Their service is also excellent. Since I booked the room, they have been trying to contact me via email and WhatsApp. They also organized a perfect trip for us.
