I’ve visited Shaxi Upstay twice — first time with Pavel Dvořák and his travel agency — and I was mesmerized by the luxurious accommodations. The staff were also excellent, which is why I chose to return for my next trip. Dahua (an experienced travel guide - can arrange even a Roadtrip in Tibet) welcomed us with tea and delicious fruits, making the check-in experience memorable from the start. His wife is an excellent cook, so you’ll also enjoy high-quality local cuisine—don’t miss the yak steak, it’s truly delicious! If you're on a long trip, you can ask the staff to do your laundry.
