The staff were so very helpful. We communicated by translator apps, and some staff had reasonable English. They organised taxis and tours for us with honest and friendly drivers. First class. Breakfast was a good variety of Chinese food. To those critics who complain about a lack of western food I suggest they stay at home in future. The room was great and the bed / pillows very comfortable. On the firm side which is very common in Asia. The manager made a great suggestion for dinner.

This hostel is the place to be in Zhangye. The rooms are comfy with curtains around the bed, the washroom is hugh, there is lots of space to do and dry your laundry, there is a kitchen, its really clean and it has a very convenient location right next to a food court. Its a great place to meet other travellers aswell, a nice mix of chinese and european tourists were staying here when i visited. But above all: the staff! They are superfriendly, kind and absolutly amazing!! They can help with all sorts of questions about the sights around Zhangye. Offering information about public transportation but also offering convenient tours. They also helped me with a lot of unusual questions. It was superhelpfull, thank you so much. I stayed here 6 years ago, very recently again and will definitly come back in the future aswell!

The yurts are big, clean, comfy. There are a lot of shared bathrooms and toilets. They are very clean and the water is hot. Location is near Danxia geological park, you can just walk there. We were very happy, because the manager came to take us at the train station in the middle of the night (for an extra, but the price was ok). And he arranged a car + driver the next day for us at an affordable price.
