Such a lovely place to stay, we wished we could have stayed longer. The cottage was very quiet, beautiful and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need and more. So many lovely touches including cereal, freshly baked bread and a cake. Eggs, milk, fresh juice and a lovely spread of cold meats and cheese in the fridge. The bed was very comfy. We loved everything about this cottage and Xenios could not have been more helpful. He explained everything well and even took us on a little walk around the village. We are so happy we found this place which was everything we could have wished for.

We loved the whole experience. The house was beautiful, very tastefully decorated and furnished. The outside space was fabulous, the pool, dining area and relaxed space under cover. It was quiet, just lovely. We will book again for sure!

    So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic remote villages without them being so commercialised. I felt like I had travelled to a completely different world. With the cobbled streets and blue doors and the church bell ringing and distant songs being sung by locals in cafes.

    Lofou is a very small town with only 2 restaurants and a couple of small shops. It’s very picturesque, quaint and beautiful. It’s perfect for passing through for a maximum of a week. Surrounded by nature and being up in the mountains gives you the sweet getaway many travelers are looking for.

    Lofou is a nice little town with its own brewery with a friendly owner, a small museum, beautiful traditional houses and wonderful natural views and friendly locals. Would definitely recommend a visit to those who want to enjoy peace outside the city and feel the charm of a small town

    Beautiful traditional stone village!

    Beautiful traditional stone village! Great tavern nearby with local food, the lamb chops at Kamares tavern were delicious. Beautiful church nearby, it was nice to hear the church bells on the sunday and attend the service, very nice young priest that gave a great sermon.

    Nice traditional village.

    Nice traditional village. I would recommend to visit it on Easter to experience the traditions of Cyprus. Loved the church and walking around the village. We saw the ILOVELOFOU sign and the school. Tried some pastries from the small bakery there. Loved it. You may stay 1 to 2 nights to enjoy every spot of the village and also have time to relax.

    We loved the Taverna and very friendly owners of these family run apartments. Lofu is a beautiful mountain village very close and easily accessible for Limassol and up into Troodos. The trip from Latakia airport was very straight forward too. It is a fascinating area of Cyprus full of history and the country side is breathtaking. All the local people we met were so helpful and friendly. We would be delighted to visit Lofu and the area in the future and would recommend friends to take a holiday here.

    We are happy and lucky that we chose Xsenios cottage for our stay in Cyprus. My family spent wonderful 2 weeks there. Every detail in the house is chosen carefully and thoughtfully. Host is warmhearted and kind, ready to help you in any way you need. Lofou is marvellous oppoutunity to see and get the feeling of authentic Cyprus. It is the most lively and taken care small village that we have visited in Cyprus.

    The property is very nice ,very clean , a relaxing place without any surrounding noice , perfect for families and whatever you need existing in the houses full facilities . And the most important perfect cleaning personnel ! Also they offer us Cypriot sweets and bread for our breakfast ! Iam traveling a lot cause Iam a pilot and I can say that this place is better than a 5 star hotel is just about perfect !

    Great stay in Lofou village which highly exceeded our expectations! The house is comfortable and full of character - a perfect mix of traditional style and modern comfort.     Beautiful setting in the tiny village of Lofou, with kind staff and a lovely (but cold!) pool. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the food. The staff catered for my gluten allergy very well, which is a rarity in Cyprus!
