Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

The Staff was sooo friendly and nice especially George , if you got him as a receptionist you are in for a treat. As we got here we didn't expect much but now we are surely planing to get back here next year. Everything was perfect, I wanted to say thanks for this wonderful staying :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8-night, 9-day stay at this hotel. The comfortable accommodation, reasonably priced and excellent service made our visit memorable. Highlights of our stay include: - Excellent Staff: The exceptionally friendly and attentive staff ensured all our needs were met. - Delicious Food: The hotel's restaurant served delicious food. Wine and coffee are also really good. - Convenient Amenities: Free parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a good breakfast. - Great Location: The hotel’s prime location allowed us to explore nearby (less crowded) hiking trails and was about half-hour drive to Špindlerův Mlýn, Janské Lázně, and Pec pod Sněžkou. Overall, it was a delightful and affordable experience. We will definitely go back and highly recommend this place to others.
