A nice city to visit for 2-3 days, less touristic than Prague. There's not too much to see. Mind that especially during the winter is a bit empty of people and places close very early. Olomouc is a beautiful smaller city with a quiet, calm, university vibe. There is a great Museum of Modern Art and a Diocesan Museum with a large art collection and museum sections covering the development of the city from prehistory to today. Both Long Story Short and Coffee Library were great places for coffee or a meal. Almost everywhere of significance is walkable from the centre.Guest review byPatrickCzech Republic

Having said that, our windows faced the main road with trams, businesses and many loud (perhaps drunk) people. So keeping the windows open overnight wasn't an option. Luckily, the hotel provides an air-con unit. The breakfast was served, freshly cooked, good coffee.
