There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not...
There is so much to see in Valtice that one day was not enough for us. If you rush you may get it all in but it would not be enjoyable. We traveled in the off season and it was beautiful. We will return in peak season to see the gardens and enjoy all the area has to offer. Keep in mind most things close at 4:00.Guest review byKathyUnited States

Was in a nice location for us and the room was comfortable and spacious. Had nice interactions with (I assume) the owner, who allowed us to taste some wines and gave us a very good price on purchasing a few bottles. Breakfast was pretty good and I don’t understand some of the complaints over lack of variety. What more do you want? Kippers? Waffles? The accommodation is spacious, neat, clean, and has a small kitchenette. There is also a nice garden with a swimming pool but we did not use it as the weather was not very hot. Another positive feature is a parking place at the site. The owner is friendly and helpful. She called us before arrival, met us at the site and showed the apartment. The terrace was beautiful, with a stunning view of the Valtice castle and town rooftops. The breakfast was very good and varied. We served a bottle of N48 on the terrace in the evening that was very good. Parking was free of charge. There are parking spots inside the courthouse and in front of the gate.
