The staff made my stay both comfortable and enjoyable. Although the place is a self check in type place, the friendliness really shone through. The room had a great bath tub and was plenty big overall!

The hotel is very good with perfect mountain view. Although the road to the hotel is narrow, the countryside scenery is so beautiful. It's near the small town of St. Peter. We had dinner at a very good restaurant which the staff of the hotel recommended. Children are running in the grassland and chasing grasshoppers. The hotel in the forest is suitable for relaxation for several days. Breakfast is good.

The breakfast and all the meals at the hotel were truly excellent. I would encourage people to stay at this hotel for the food alone, but the staff were all courteous, effective and helpful. This is a fine example of a fine family owned hotel with excellent food. The location in a pretty village about 12 miles from downtown Freiburg was very good for walking and enjoying the open air life.
