It was a perfect stay! Hotel has its own connection with Franken Therme and it's very convenient to go directly to spa from the hotel room wearing your bathrobe. Special thanks to the receptionist (unfortunately I didn't note his name). A perfect man doing his job with all his soul and attention to the clients. Definitely, the rest of the personal is also magnificent. Breakfast was ideal with a great variety of everything!

We were simply looking for a place to rest for one night on our way to Italy, but what we found was so much more than that. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. But what truly surprised us was the town itself – such a beautiful, picturesque little German town! We hadn’t expected much, but we ended up strolling around and truly enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and charming streets. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen such a lovely place. This wasn’t just a stop along the way – it became a memorable part of our journey. We’re really glad we found this place, and we’d happily return!

    Old town on top of ancient volcano, lovely town hall, archaeological dig site in town square, great half timbered buildings, great town small enough to wander. Interesting town but disappointing there is very little information in English. We are finding this in many of the smaller towns that are less visited by non German tourists.

    We lived in this town in the early 1990s and loved it then..

    We lived in this town in the early 1990s and loved it then...we visit as often as possible. Getting around the town is no problem but you need some time to learn the layout of a nearly 800 year-old town. We ate at the Salsa Restaurant at Franken Therme and it was very good...on past visits we have eaten at Storchen Nest, Goldener Schwan, and others. The Therme make this a tourists town and all restaurants are very good.

    The location is really good, close to the city center and the Franken Thermen. I can certainly recommend these thermen. The appartment is quite small (kitchen included), but very efficiently furnished. You find room for everything you need to store. Bad Windsheim is a beautiful village. Bike lanes are very good, you can easily bike for instance to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, which is even more beautiful than Bad Windsheim. A good, closed bike parking is available. We did not have any meals at the hotel, so we cannot judge the food.

    Bad Windsheim is a charming town. It took us a bit of roaming to find the hotel but it was well worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide little surprises like chocolate Santas on the pillows. The room was huge and exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. The bar which also serves fare like pizza is great.

    Ideal location, very clean, host was lovely. Easy instructions for key pick up and parking space right outside. Nice change from just stopping in a hotel room as allowed lots of space and 2 separate bedrooms for the the cost of just one hotel room.
