Beautiful location, lots of walks around the area, many gardens on the castle grounds, the library, the grand piano, the epic breakfast, the sauna. Really friendly staff. Best Indian takeaway in Germany is there in Kaub! Could not recomment this hotel enough!

This was supposed to be a convenient halfway stop on our journey back home. I had no idea how beautiful the Rhine Valley is, so this was a great surprise. The hotel was great, with very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. It's located in a quaint German village along the Rhine River, dotted with stunning castles and vineyards everywhere one looks.

Great place for an overnight stay on the way south from the Channel ferry ports. The accommodation was lovely, good value for money and very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The evening meal wasn't cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for. Beautifully prepared and served.

The host runs the hotel enthousiastically. He gave me advice on my hikes in the area and was very helpful. He did an earlier breakfast for me as I wanted to leave early. Rooms are clean and bed/mattress are comfortable. I highly recommend this place.
