Remote/rural location, very quiet, near hiking trails and nature. Located in small village so very quaint. The hotel premises were very clean and tidy. The hotel owners super friendly and the breakfast delicious. The courtyard was a great work space with a fountain and tons of flowers. Will definitely come back!

It is a very cosy apartment for 2 people. The terrace is beautifully located in the garden. The bedroom and bathroom are small but big enough for two people. The larger living room compensates for the smaller rooms. The apartment has everything you need, so no need to run to the shop when you arrive. Even though my German isn't that good, Wolfgang was very understanding, which is deeply appreciated. ☺️

Exceeds expectations From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond - not a single unfriendly face, just warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. When we mentioned that our TV wasn’t working, the receptionist brought a projector and a full-size screen. That kind of service is rare and deeply appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, delicious, beautifully presented, and with great variety. The kitchen offers a buffet, but also several dishes to be prepared as per request (included in the price). Everything in the hotel was spotless and fully functional. The design is stylish, and the spa area is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location is magical. The castle is tucked away from everything, surrounded by nature. Deer are walking around the grounds… it felt like a fairytale. And the view… just wow. Overall, it felt like stepping into a different world, peaceful, beautiful, and full of light. This was, without question, the best birthday I’ve had in many, many years. Thank you for making it so special. We’ll absolutely recommend it to close ones and definitely be back!

A beautifully restored historic hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and a welcoming dog-friendly atmosphere. The highlight was the superb five-course tasting menu with wine pairing in the restaurant. The warmth and kindness of the family who run the hotel made our stay truly memorable. We would be delighted to return.

    The hotel was very attractive, good service, lovely food, very clean and well maintained. Great breakfast too 😋 Due to my daughters sport, we have travelled across Europe, staying in random hotels based purely on location. This has by far been the best hotel!
