The host runs the hotel enthousiastically. He gave me advice on my hikes in the area and was very helpful. He did an earlier breakfast for me as I wanted to leave early. Rooms are clean and bed/mattress are comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing - top class and far more than I expected. Our host filled our flasks with hot water for our day out which was very good. Hotels in Germany never seem to have a jug so this was appreciated. Gave us tips for visiting Loreley Rock and St Goarshausen via the ferry which we followed. Thank you Stored our bikes downstairs easily too and gave us a very good recommendation for dinner. Excellent meal.

The hotel was located overlooking the Rhine, with a lovely view of the river. The host was very welcoming and very friendly and went out of his way to ensure that we had a superb breakfast. The hotel is fairly basic but ideal for a weekend away and closely situated for exploring the area. Definitely recommended.
