It is a lovely hotel in an idyllic location, surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is walking distance to the Elbe river. It features the wellness area with sauna and the bier garden right next to the house. Our booking included breakfast which was very nice as well. It was in another location with the terrace outlooking the river. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, which is intentional, but you can catch free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and beer garden , if needed. It was a very relaxing stay and we loved it! Thank you!

A wonderful place and wonderful hosts. We spent a few days in Saxony with a group of friends, staying at the Hotel Brückenschänke in Sebnitz. Thanks to Barbara and Andreas, the owners of the hotel, we felt like family. The staff were friendly, the hotel is in a beautiful village on the Elbe, Tesla charge point worked perfectly (there's also a public charger in the local parking lot). The bar and restaurant were great and breakfast was very good.

Our room was modern and clean. I really appreciate the overall concept of this hotel cluster—revitalizing the village in an environmentally friendly way, promoting self-sufficiency, and preserving historical traces. It left a strong impression on me. As for the food, I liked the use of high-quality ingredients.

The breakfast was amazing, inexpensive, and a great way to socialize with other travelers. Robin was an excellent host and went above and beyond to make sure the experience was a good one. Great for solo travelers, near hiking trails. Bathrooms were always clean, and the rooms were big and beds were comfortable. Literally 30-second walk to the beginning of hiking trails. Schmilka is a ferry and train ride from Bad Schandau, but it's very manageable.
