‘Wow, home sweet home!’ was our first thought when very friendly, helpful hostess, Petra, showed us the holiday place upstairs of her residence. Every room is very clean, spacious, homey with craftsman-German-furniture (no cheap flatpacks ones) Fireplace was roaring to welcome. Bathroom: big, bright, clean, plenty of towels. An anti-slip mat in shower-cubical is good thinking to prevent an accident under shower. Kitchen: good qualitied stuffs for cooking and dining. Big anti-bacteria refrigerator and freezer. Big family space: very cozy, books, games, tourist information. Bedroom: big, serene, plenty wardrobes, balcony, outdoor furniture, panorama view. Living room: bright, homey, serene, smart TV, big balcony with outdoor furniture and wonderful view. Very good WiFi. Even in heavy autumn rain, we still enjoyed and love every moment of our stay. Peaceful, very quiet - an oasis of calm. For groceries, you can drive for less than 10 minutes to supermarket in another village. If anyone want to get away from noisy, chaotic towns, you can have a very relaxing holiday here.

The property was what we expected. It looked like an old coaching inn and the mostly wooden interior added to this. It was a change from the modern and like stepping back in time and that was ok for us. It was a bit of a climb to the top floor but we hadn't specified a lower stage bedroom and were only there one evening, that was ok. There isn't a lift. The breakfast was excellent (I would have loved to eat the cake but couldn't eat anything else!) and the owner was always around to make sure everything was alright. It does help if you can speak a little German.
