I do not eat a traditional breakfast, but I had the staff prepare the coffee with my "special ingredients" and my fortified Orange juice" which they brought to my room each morning to help me to start my day, just as I do at home. We also had a meal at the Trattoria Enoteca, which was both, excellent food and service. The wine was Spectacular!! I spent a good deal of time in the lobby bar and the staff were so friendly and attentive. I also enjoyed .the piano music on the weekend with Frank

Incredibly tasty breakfast. Loved the cream cheese and the crispy bread. The barn with the horses is an added bonus. It was perfect one night stay with a toddler.

It was an unforgettable three days of relaxation in this beautiful hotel. The location is simply gorgeous, around the castle there is nature as in the pictures, clean air, beautiful birdsong, a nice and comfortable room, delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere and the best staff. We are really satisfying with the service in this hotel. My mother was happy with the breakfast which they offer many options for vegatarisch . The fresh juice and the customize omelette is so far the satisfying one we try in our trip in Germany. We're also pleased with the service from the staffs at the counter and the girl who makes omelette for us.

    Small village, one needs a car to get around for food runs...

    Small village, one needs a car to get around for food runs as there aren't any major supermarkets or bakeries. Busy main street close by, but windows are sound-proof. All within the Koenigsforst, a large forest, so air quality is good, and there is plenty of hiking around. Public bus transportation is close, and it is very reliable and runs pretty frequently. A few good restaurants for the weekend city slicker invasions.
