    Seeing the old places which I love and the house where my aunt and later,also my grandmother lived. Like to visit the hyper markets and the many parks and most of course,Burg Linn,the castle. Nice to walk beside the Rhein and to visit the Zoo.

    Authentic, German experience with little or no tourists.Charming town, old architecture, pedestrian streets. Many friendly, non English -speaking people. Slow pace of life, many bicycles, retired people. Forest walks, (favourite place: Stadwald forest and lake with beergarden wth fabulous food) Also nice is Cosmopolitan garden irestaurant in Krefeld centre with a variety of dishes including Indian (Sri Lankan chef). Also lake swimming, Shopping also good. Dussledorf 30 mins by tram. You can walk around centre easily.

    Perfect location in the center of Krefeld. A big plus is the parking spot you can book in advance, so you don’t have to stress about it. The apartment was really nice and had everything you need. There was a TV with almost all possible channels in different languages – perfect when you travel with kids. Surprisingly, it was very quiet despite being right in the city center and during the weekend.

    We needed to be in Krefeld for medical reasons. The staff in the hotel were very kind and helpful. It was only 3km from the hospital. Beds are comfortable and although the rooms could do with some upgrading, it was comfi and warm.

    This hotel has changed from being a Mercure. Everything was spotless however there was not as much attention to detail. Breakfast was great. And there were tea and coffee making facilities.
