Amazing host: Dennis really was very accomodating with the flexible check-in and check-out and was always available if we needed anything else. He also provided us with some good tips for the surroundings and some booklets and maps which helped us with hiking. Room: very spacious, comfortable, clean, modern and stylish. It is also quiet and feels personal, since there are just a few rooms available. Facilities: good bed, roomy table to have a drink at and play some board games, toilets and showers shared but clean and comfortable. Free parking space available on the terrain and just across the rood. Location: small village. Peaceful and quiet. Very safe. Perfect base to explore the area. Tip (as with all villages in Germany): bring enough cash, because some restaurants, bakeries, etc. don't take cards. Amenities: TV with built-in chromecast option was nice to have available. Two good fridges (with freezer compartments as well) to keep your drinks and food. Good quality coffee and tea for free, which is very nice. There is also the option to buy some beers, food and snacks for very reasonable prices. The kitchen seemed to have everything you should need, but we didn't test it. There also is a sauna. We didn't use that either but it looked comfortable. There is a comfortable terrace outside which was nice to make use of. Conclusion: much more than you would expect from a 'hostel'. It feels like a good bed and breakfast, but without breakfast option. Really good value for money and an amazing host!

This place is wonderful! They were very friendly to us. So we felt at home. We came by motorbike and had a good parking place. The breakfast was amazing. We would definitely recommend to other people. Especially if you like to meet local friendly people.

    The Property was very dated, was in need of modernisation.

    The Property was very dated, was in need of modernisation. The property was reasonably clean. The living room was the only room that had generally all modern furniture & cupboards. The bathroom/shower room was also very dated. The shower was usable but shower tray was really high & narrow to access & tile grout old & grubby. This is an old building & some of the floors not level & movement in the laminate flooring. Parking was on the main road in front of the property & so was also worried about vehicle damage from other vehicles. Overall the stay was adequate but the most expensive of other stays on Booking.com, paid less for 1 x night in Austria & accommodation standard was higher.
