I had an excellent experience during my stay with my family at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile. I had a very late evening check-in and last minute booking due to train delays and Hotel was very accommodating with providing access. Lovely location and room was very welcoming. Wished I could have stayed longer.

So, we absolutely loved this hotel. Super dog friendly we had a top floor room. Comfy beds. Large room. The restaurant menu is quite limited due to a refurbishment of the kitchen and reviews reflect this but…..as things are progressing they are offering much more. We had lunch and were so impressed we decided to try an evening meal. What a winner. Ribeye steak cooked to absolute perfection. Melt in the mouth and so tender. Well done that chef. Best steak ever and seriously I am a steak snob. Pork medallions wrapped in bacon with plums. Beautiful. Drinks were very very reasonable. Breakfast was substantial and varied. Wonderful. Staff professional and very happy. Well done everyone from kitchen to reception. Management note… you have a great team and a superb chef. Its been a pleasure.

    It is close to the German A5 autobahn and thus an excellent place to stay on a a long journey to south of France and Spain. The Guesthouse Lowen Garni is an authentic building going back for a number of years into the past with original buildings and farm equipment. The rooms are large and the courtyard fine for parking.

    We wanted an overnight stop not far from the A5 and the Swiss border. This hotel fitted what we wanted exactly. The rooms were very good. The owners were friendly. We had an enjoyable stay.
