Coming off the ferry in Travemünde at night,it's an easy and short drive to the location. While there's no staff,all information and late check-in was handled digitally; convenient and smooth. The room was spacious and clean.

Forsthaus St Hubertus is a little gem. It is our regular stop when we (frequently) visit Lübeck. The city is about 5 miles from the hotel and there is a regular bus route with a stop about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The bus takes you all the way into the centre of the city. Hotel is situated on the edge of a wooded area and rooms are quiet. Breakfast caters for most tastes with a varied selection of food. When arriving, the owner was more than happy to help with carrying the luggage up the stairs. There are 3 excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.

The rooms are much more comfortable as expected when we did enter the hotel. There was a bit disappointment when we enter the hotel, because of the old fashioned style of the lobby, restaurant etc. But the rooms are actually pretty nice.

Very cosy and clean, friendly host. Good parking area. Didnt have enough time to explore the garden but seemed big and beautiful lake view. Would definitely recommend 10/10.

    The property and views across the Ratzeburger See are outstanding. Great location just 10 mins to Ratzeburg and 20 mins to Lübeck and the little Imbissbude at the bottom of the property is very convenient for a quick snack. Like how they say Moin (morning) at all times of the day. :) Wonderful and would highly recommend it to friends, family and anyone reading this review.
