The reception staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and clean, beautifully decorated, with a cozy, chic atmosphere. The toilet was separate, and the view of the mountain was exceptional. This is a perfect hotel for a restful night or two or three in the black forest region. A babbling brook right next to the hotel lulls you to sleep. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel is very stylish (Vitra Design- beautiful art books, an unusual combination of traditional and modern- with many surprising and enjoyable features. Our dog was welcomed. The breakfast fulfilled every wish I could’ve had more. I can highly recommend this hotel in Glottertal. Thank you.

We stayed for 1 night from long trips in Switzerland and stopped over before heading Netherlands. The room is clean, the bed is very comfortable, nice bathroom, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is okay not many choices but okay. Very worth it to stay here.

    The hotel is located in a very small hamlet.

    The hotel is located in a very small hamlet. I wasn't there long, but the only amenity appeared to be the hotel. No other sources of refreshment. The hotel is some few minutes drive from Stegen. I was just driven through Stegen so couldn't form any opinion of its facilities.

    This hotel is a hidden gem, we had a lovely welcome and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay, the room was lovely and comfortable and exceptionally clean. The Breakfast was amazing. We will definitely go back and highly recommend Landhotel Reckenberg.

    Lovely family hotel, in peaceful surroundings of the quite area. Short drive to Frieburg (20min drive by car). We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment, which was spacious and well-equipped for our family. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

    Comfortable, quite, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, and the beautiful Black Forest hills as a backdrop. It was the second time we stayed at the hotel, and we will definitely go there again.

    The manager lady was extremely kind, accommodating and caring. Hotel was very quiet, clean, breakfast tasty. Free parking on site! I cannot recommend it enough!
