VFM all the way. Clean sheets, hot water, good breakfast to start the day right - what more could you ask for? Although our stay was short, the property met our expectations after a long day and prepped us well for the next day. Bonus points for being pet friendly!

Breakfast was ready and waiting for us in the morning and was delicious with a great variety. The room was recently renovated and the workmanship was exceptional. We enjoyed the modern, comfortable vibe in the room. The hotel is located right by the water, making it a very scenic location.

Excellent standard of accommodation, better than I expected. There was a well stocked kitchen and spacing living room with access to a garden. Excellent views. No noise so we were able to rest well. There was somewhere to park out bikes in a securely locked garage. The host was extremely kind and responsive to all questions. The cleanliness level was high, and bathroom was very modern and spacious. A baby bed was brought into our room which was perfectly suited to our child.

    I think you can tell that Traunreut did not exist before the...

    I think you can tell that Traunreut did not exist before the war. There seems to be important industry but few people on the streets. Somehow older places often seem to have more soul to them. I went there for a quiet time (meditation) for which it was fine.

    We stayed in room number 2, a triple room with a sloping ceiling. It felt like a sauna in the room. The room had a very small skylight. There was no air conditioning or refrigerator available, only a cheap fan that circulated hot air. In a room with a sloping ceiling like this, having an air conditioner would not be a luxury. We did not sleep the whole night due to the extreme heat. Not recommended at all. If you are traveling and book this hotel in the summer, you will definitely not get any sleep!
