We liked the newly renovated facilities. We had a king bedroom and lovely new bathroom with shower. Gorgeous Mosel River views. Included breakfasts supplied custom eggs, fresh, warm buns and bread, several kinds of meat slices, plus selections of cheese and fresh fruit slices. We ate several suppers in their spacious dining room c/w wonderful views. I esp. liked the chicken breast with creamy mushroom sauce. My companions ate bacon-wrapped pork medallions and boneless roasted chicken legs, accompanied by trips to the plentiful salad bar. Overall, we had a great time (loved their coffee)!

    Ian and his wife were wonderfully kind hosts. They are very welcoming and helpful. It's a great story how they started a hotel along the Moselle as Englishmen. On arrival, we were able to join a wine tasting from Rebenhof (https://www.rebenhof-schmitz.de/) by Johannes Schmitz right away. Excellent wine by the way! Breakfast was also excellent.

    Excellent, professional service. Everything we wanted was provided pro-actively without being intrusive. Secured parking, with charging facilities, for bikes was a nice feature. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was the best during our stay in the Mosel valley. Do try the local dessert wine :-)
