Absolutely 5 star quality building and fittings. Perfectly decorated to look from an earlier age. Ergonomics well thought out and fresh shower area. Situated in a well kept and pretty village. Toiletries and fizzy bottle of water nice touch.

Very nice rooms: spacious (apartment), clean, coffee & tea available, towels & soap in the bathroom, well equiped. Excellent, delicious breakfast for only €15/person: a luxurious table per family filled with sandwiches, fresh fruit & vegetables, spreads, cereals, eggs,... I think this has to be my most enjoyable all-round experience in any B&B. If you could write a guide on how a B&B should be, this place could be the subject. The lady who runs it is super friendly (its been in her family for 200 years). They have also recently refurbished all the rooms and have done so with the utmost care. Beautiful wooden doors (the natural wood smell is incredible), lovely soft finishes. The rooms are bright, super clean, incredibly comfortable and they come with lovely touches when you arrive. The breakfast was also great and everything arrived with a smile. I was only travelling through, with no intention to stop in Werlte, but now it will be a destination!

The furniture is very beautiful and creates a cozy, rustic atmosphere. It would be good to clean the freezer compartment and the oven — it wasn’t an issue for us, but it would improve the overall impression. Also, the glass coffee/tea pot seems to be damaged and should probably be replaced. Everything else was perfect.
