Breakfast was exceptional value for money and served in an elegant dining room. the room size was good and we had a nice view of the river from our window. This hotel is in the historic area of this picturesque town. Staff were attentive but not intrusive, the evening barman was a credit to the hotel.

Very interesting place in a really nicely redone old industrial oil mill, with some rough edges remaining. Very nicely decorated and comfortable room and superb massive sauna on the top floor (free to use for hotel guests). Good facilities for cyclists and excellent breakfast buffet. Also a nice restaurant but quite busy: we could only get a table relatively late.

A pleasant apartment, accessible via very steep stairs. The apartment had more or less everything we needed. We stayed for one night, but we could easily imagine a longer stay. Parking was safe and easy on the street in front of the apartment. Although the street is paved with cobblestones, the area is so quiet that nighttime traffic did not disturb us. I greatly appreciated the supply of board games available.

Firm mattress, well-equipped accommodation, with big fridge, coffee machine, tea sortiment, washing machine etc. Quiet place, in the middle of nowhere, surrunded by beautiful forests but still close to Magdeburg, Hamburg and Lübeck. Everything was perfect, Ms. Jutta and her husband were very hospitable. The rooms are really pretty and the calm was what we really needed. We can definately recommend. (There were a lot of mosqitoes on the first day in the rooms. So we recommend to take a socket appliance against them - but it was nothing to spoil our mood, we were prepared :-) And the majority of windows has nets against them.)
