very clean, modern, large shower, comfortable beds. stayed in the bunk beds, for 15 euros, it was really nice, somewhere to wash clothes, a lovely pilgrims meal, 3 courses for 13 euros, it was very nice food. the staff are so lovely and helpful. it’s a winner, you really cannot fault this place it’s a 10 out of 10. we even saw them disinfecting the rooms as soon as we vacated. no chance of bedbugs as the place is spotless.

We are walking the Camino and this lovely hotel was just what we needed Value for money Lovely friendly staff especially the friendly lady doing our laundry. Food was good Room overlooked the river which was so peaceful Quiet rooms with very comfortable beds

This is always a highlight for us after doing the first part of the Dragonte variation. Hot bath, restaurant downstairs, quiet sleep. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay on the camino, this is the second time i stay here and if i ever do another camino i will be sure to pass by a 3rd time. The hospitality of the host María is beyond words. Everything is super clean, and the breakfast delicious. Highly highly recommended!

Excellent beds. The indoors were very cool despite it being a very hot day. The open area outside has an excellent view and space. The owner took personal interest in interacting with the guests. He was the best.

    I can always tell how good my stay will be when interacting with the staff. In this case the staff was one individual who managed reception, waited in restaurant, cooked in restaurant. He was friendly, courteous, professional; I enjoyed talking to him. Hotel was a perfect little place to stay on the Camino. Hotel was nice, room was simple and clean, bathroom facilities were clean, fully stocked. Delicious hake dinner. Well located on a sleeoy, peaceful, small town on Camino. Well done Hotel Ambasmestas.

    This gem of a hotel was so cozy and I loved having a wonderful dinner meal in their onsite restaurant. We met such nice people during dinner who were also on the Camino and we were able to get more drinks from the bar after dinner and go into a comfy living room to continue our conversations. The owner of the hotel also let us put some items in their refrigerator.

    The staff were exceptional. Sarai helped me to plan my transport out of Ambasmestas, but more than that, she made us feel so welcome. We loved our stay here!
