From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome, Anita and Steve are amazing hosts. The separate Casita is perfect, every little detail thought of, and immaculately clean. A stocked fridge with water, milk, soft drinks, wine and beer. And a terrific little piggy bank as an honesty box which we thought was a great idea. The breakfast was a choice of full English breakfast freshly cooked or continental (we had the full English, such a treat!). Our small dog was made very welcome and loved running around the garden, but also great for him for his walks on the rambla close by. We stayed with them for a house hunting trip....we think we will just live with them! We felt like friends by the time we left.

I stumbled upon this place by sheer luck, and boy, was I fortunate! The historic house I discovered was absolutely stunning, and the hostess welcomed us with such enthusiasm and kindness. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The cleanliness and coziness of the accommodations were top-notch, making us feel right at home. The breakfast provided was delicious, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. To our surprise and delight, the hostess generously offered us a spare room free of charge, as they had an extra one available and we were a group of four sharing a single room. This act of hospitality truly went above and beyond our expectations. We were incredibly grateful for such a memorable experience.

Great location within easy walking distance to all facilities. Very clean and well equipped casa Fantastic outside space. We loved cooking and relaxing in Casa Bella in the evenings after busy days. When we're back in the area we would definitely stay again.

This place is amazing. We also run a B&B and it is so refreshing to stay somewhere that provides accommodation to the same standards as ours. The honesty bar is great but the prices are a bit steep. The Cava is €3.50 a bottle in Lidl but €10 in the honesty bar. We charge the cost price for our honesty bar drinks as a convenience to our guests not to make money. The pool is amazing. Our room was clean and really comfortable. The room price includes a continental breakfast with pre packed Lidl croissants and cakes. Fruit, yoghurt, Cereal and toast. You have to pay extra for a cooked breakfast.

Casa Pap is a lovely, well appointed villa near the town of Arboleas. Unfortunately the weather let us down as it rained every day, which is unusual! There isn't a dining room table inside, but there is a breakfast bar that would seat 4 people. Fortunately there was just the two of us, so it wasn't really a problem. There was a drinking water problem in the area, but bottled water was delivered to the villa. We got talking to some local people, who were really friendly and Caits bar is great craic for cheap, no frills food and drink. The owner was great with information and attention to detail, even going as far as leaving a birthday card and small welcome pack for us.

My partner had been rushed to hospital earlier in the day and I arrived at 10.30pm whereupon Lola greeted and settled me in. The breakfast was very good especially as nearly everything home grown/made. Staying at Casa Rurale was like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket. Thank you Lola and your daughter for looking after my body and soul.

    Was so nice to experience the real Spanish hospitality and culture. We could not believe the value for money you got and how reasonable the cost of eating out was. Arboleas had all the facilities you would need.

    Was there for just a night as my car needed work done before it´s ITV test the day before. Didn´t want to drive down and then back up again from the garage to home and then back down again for the ITV test the following day.

    Friendly expat community who make everyone welcome. Very safe area with little to no crime. Great value for money properties and still T shirt and shorts weather in late October. A few bars dotted around that do good tapas.

    It was very peaceful when we visited (April) and we had some nice walks. Perhaps could do with another supermarket. Locals were very friendly and staff in restaurants and bars were very efficient and friendly. Not to expensive to eat and dink in all of the places that we visited.

    A very pleasant stay we had here in Villa Marhaba. Very calm and quite place surrounded with the beautiful mountains of Arboleas in Almeria. We were greeted on arrival at the villa for collection of the keys and any questions we had about our stay. Also contactable via WhatsApp and through Booking.com. Friendly and helpful as we spoke to the owner of this villa due to a question we had. Please note the cooker is operated through the dials on the oven.

    My parents live i the apeadero area of arboleas, a 10 minute walk from the Meson so the location was perfect for us. The rooms are basic but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the hotel was quiet. Ideal for us and will be using it again
