If you want a stunning location, with beautiful scenery,...
If you want a stunning location, with beautiful scenery, wildlife, rivers and rugged, rocky hills, this is it. There are also hot springs that can be used completely free of charge. That is what we came for and so our trip was not a disappointment. Arnedillo itself, is not in the best of shape. It has a lot of shops and restaurants that are closed down, and the few left open at odd hours (10 a.m. to 14:00). So if you want to buy food, you need to be up and out in the morning. As for the restaurants, you will see from the reviews that they are all much the same. The food is OK but the service is appalling. We waited 90 minutes the last time we went. You see people being served before you. There is a noticeable favouritism to locals. As a result we ate out only 3 times. After all, you begin to resent such poor treatment when you are paying handsomely for your dinner! Life is easier for drivers, as there are not many buses and the nearest taxi drivers are in Arnedo. We could only find ONE taxi driver in Arnedo, although I have been told there are 3. The bus timetable is really weird and would have given us a maximum hour at Mercadona to do our shopping. It certainly was no way to get out of town for sightseeing as you risked being stranded and unable to get home.Guest review byCharlotteUnited Kingdom

The house itself has a lot of character and the host is very friendly.
