    We loved the beach and the marina was spectacular we ate...

    We loved the beach and the marina was spectacular we ate there 4 nights, we also went on the Hercules boat trip to see sunset and all the lights only €10pp we loved,it’s a busy place but in a good way nice buzz we missed not seeing bands or shows but maybe we just didn’t find time a few karaoke bars food is fabulous ad great value for money

    I was in Spain for the first time and I really liked...

    I was in Spain for the first time and I really liked Benalmadena. Of the beaches, I liked Playa Jose the most. Two sunbeds with umbrellas cost 14 euros. Very friendly beach manager. You can order a drink and food there, which is prepared in a cafe on the embankment. Be sure to visit Benalmadena Pueblo and enjoy the real Spanish atmosphere. On the embankment, I liked the cafe The Sootn Beach with very tasty food. Nearby is a place with homemade ice cream. The Aquarium restaurant had excellent food and a very friendly owner, who explains in English about any dish.

    There is lots to see in the surrounding area.

    There is lots to see in the surrounding area. Malaga is fairly close and is worth visiting for a day or two. There is a little area called Benalamadena Pueblo which sits on a hill. There are a few English owned businesses aroiund. The coastlne is quite dramatic and it gets hot.

    It's extremely touristy.

    It's extremely touristy. BUT absolutely everything is right at hand—shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, mini markets. Don't expect great food anywhere. However, the prices are really good. (Note: We live in Copenhagen so we thought the prices were amazing but, of course, that opinion might differ based on where you come from.) The beach is a crowded, however it's sandy (mushy/muddy) but really great if you have children who want to sit and play or venture into the water. A short walk through pebbles and a minor step down going into the water but then sandy and shallow for a decent way out.

    Benalmadena has grown over the years and like other resorts...

    Benalmadena has grown over the years and like other resorts attracts a predominantly younger type of tourist. However it’s still family friendly and not in the least chavvy. Marina is spectacular. Quailty and range of eateries is excellent. Locals in the main are friendly.

    We travelled with our 1 year old daughter, so location was really important to us. The apartment itself is really well positioned close to the marina and both promenades towards Benalmadena and Torremolinos. It's supported by a few smaller supermarkets and bigger Lidl which is around 10 minutes walk away and really handy if you're travelling with young children. The facilities in the apartment were great and had everything we needed for our trip. The staff were really friendly and accomodating - it was a great experience.

    Never disappoints from the moment you arrive until you have to say farewell to the wonderful team here. Stayed at the hotel many times. It’s a lovely bit of luxury with only a handful of rooms, it gets booked up quickly. Decided to stay half board and the food and service was exceptional. Big thanks for your all the staff who always provide a warm, welcoming and superb service. This hotel will always be one we will kept returning to. Big Thanks to Maria and her team.

    Really lovely hotel in a great location right beside thd beach, bus stop right outside can take you all around Benalmadena, of along the coast. Fantastic dining room, very bright, great selection of food. This is a perfect base for travelling along the coast . Would definitely return, also stayed at Best Sirroco another great hotel in a great location closer to marina.

    After paying 45 euros for one night I had no complaints with this hotel. I stayed in Benalmádena with a group of friends and this hotel was good for our weekend away. Staff were friendly and the room was clean. It was an easy walk down to the beach and the marina was not far.
