Location and accommodation perfectly suited to our purpose, which was an overnight stay before an early morning flight. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room and comfortable beds. The area was quiet when we stayed there, on a Saturday night.

We got a good deal for a night and was really special. We usually couldn't afford such a place. When we entered our room and saw the view overlooking the bay it was breathtaking. Stunning experience.

A hotel which is really worth its four stars, everything was of high quality. Spacey, clean and modern room with very comfortable bed. Wide selection of food for breakfast that one could have in the very nice garden. There is private parking lot a five minutes walk from the hotel. The two nicest beaches of Santander are only a few minutes walk.

Unique experience with the room balcony directly overlooking the elephants' enclosure in Cabarcéno! Very clean, large and comfortable room. Jacuzzi bath! Very good continental breakfast. Mini fridge in the room and the kettle was a rare feature for Spanish hotels.

Gustavo and his wife and daughter showed themselves to be warm and compassionate hosts on a very rainy night when my wife and i arrived cold and soaked to the skin after two hours walking in miserable rain. Even though the restaurant was closed, they opened up the kitchen specially and cooked us a delicious hot meal. We will be forever grateful for their kindness. We recommend Finca Alcamino for anyone wanting warmth and comfort on their pilgrimmage!

We have stayed several times. Luis and his wife are very friendly. There used to be an on site restaurant that was run separate to the hotel. That has closed and now luis's wife cooks dinner and breakfast for you. It's very good home cooking. The hotel is an old 13th century manor house set in wonderful gardens. There are a few bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the road.
