Never been to Menorca before , beautiful small island. Hired a car for our duration which allowed us to explore the island. Not as busy as other Spanish islands & the mainland. a little more upmarket than some of the other resorts (Cala n Porter / Arenel) with a good choice of bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Stunning crescent bay with huge beach and pretty river walks, with boats moored on it - even ducks and lots of wild birds. We loved hiring a canoe to explore the bay and river. Cala Galdana was lovely, we have been many time before, however, the Galdana Palms Villa was in a bit of a sorry state, shabby and ant infested.
