Very cozy place with a very good beach, restaurants and shops. Nothing historical near the sea (the castle is very far from the beach), but it's a very convenient town for resting. The beach was amazing, large, sandy, clean and not busy at all despite us visiting in July. We stayed on the edge of Calafell so there were not many restaurants nearby, but that was not such a problem for us as we mostly cooked our own meals. It's a good location between Barcelona and Tarragona...
It's a good location between Barcelona and Tarragona connected to both by train (we have not used the train though) and by car. There are big grocery shops with plenty of choice. The beach is nice, although in April pretty empty (some bars and cafes are open though).Guest review byLeszekPoland
