Calpe was beautiful, it is well located so you can visit other places also like Benissa, Altea and Alicante (all by car and train I believe). The beach front at Calpe is lovely, clean, friendly. The Saturday market was fun and it was great to see the old salt marsh with flamingos! It is a very hilly town so be warned there are steep hills to climb. We love Calpe, have been coming for 30 yrs, even then my Dad thought it was becoming too built up, he always wondered where everyone would park but it hasn’t seemed to change the wonderful feel of the town. It is a lovely town, very clean with a good variety of shops...
It is a lovely town, very clean with a good variety of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also the little train which takes you to the old town and through to the to the harbour. Good selection of bars/restaurants to sit in and people watch. In the evenings we went to the old town which is uphill but plenty of seats in the way for a breather.
