The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and super helpful. I liked being out of the main busy areas. It was only a short walk to the restaurants in Gros, Old and New Town. The beds were comfortable and having a patio off the room was great. Parking garage was great for us not having to find street parking.

Loved the extra touches - Marshall speaker, good coffee station, small balcony, bicycles we could use for free. Excellent service, they even parked our rental car at the underground parking and fetched it on the day of departure.

Very nice and cozy hotel in a quiet area but also quite close to bustling zone of tapas bars and beach. Comfortable, simple and nice decorated big rooms, free parking. The hotel was perfect for visiting San Sebastian. The location is perfect, close to the old town and the beach. The rooms are small but comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The staff is very kind, and Andreea was very helpful and extremely friendly. Although located in a pedestrian area, underground parking is possible at the hotel. I appreciated the fact that we received detailed instructions on how to get to the hotel by car. The small gift in the room was a nice surprise

Amazing Coastline and Historical Beauty

San Sebastian is a famous beach resort in the north of Spain with picturesque coastline, vibrant nightlife and amazing Basque gastronomy.

Playa de la Concha is one of the world’s most popular city beaches, ideal for watersports lovers. Rent a surfboard on Zurriola beach or just relax on a cosy lounge chair under your umbrella.

Established as the culinary capital of Spain, San Sebastian features a variety of bars and restaurants serving delicious pintxos (Basque-style tapas), fresh seafood and fine wine. According to Spanish tradition, you should have one tapa and a wine in one bar, then move on to the next bar.

The tree-covered hill standing just across the gulf is called Urgull and offers spectacular views over the bay and city. Situated at the bottom of it, Parte Vieja is the old part of the town where you can mix with the locals and visit some of the city’s most interesting historical attractions.

    A beautiful seaside city with a good beach and great public buses and friendly people. Everything about it was cheerful. Wonderful architecture, lively street life with cafes, bars and green spaces. I would like to go back again.

    superb town , lots to see and do , wine and food off the...

    superb town , lots to see and do , wine and food off the charts , very bust but never queued for anything , nice mix of old town harbour and new town . amazing views from the attraction park , small bit of advice though taxi to the top for 10 euros otherwise the queues are hours .. definitely come back . clever travels come in via biarritz for a quick transfer , but worth while a night there aswell when going home.

    Fascinating and picturesque city. Oodles of things to see, do and eat or drink! Took a bike tour and got a sense of the scale of the city. Even the supposed “working class areas” were clean tree lined and well laid out. Lovely local squares with families socialising and playing til late

    Donostia-San Sebastián is an absolute gem on Spain’s northern coast—a perfect blend of natural beauty, vibrant culture, and world-class gastronomy. The city’s charming old town (Parte Vieja) is a delight to explore, and the highlight for any foodie is undoubtedly the pintxos tour. Hopping from bar to bar, sampling bite-sized masterpieces paired with local txakoli wine, is an unforgettable experience. Each stop offers something unique—from traditional classics to avant-garde creations. We did a walk along the two coves – La Concha and Ondarreta – and the views were just stunning. The coastline is so pretty, and the walk is super easygoing and peaceful. We also hiked up to the Castillo de la Mota on Monte Urgull, which was a bit of a climb but 100% worth it for the panoramic views over the city and sea. Warm hospitality, stunning coastal views, and the buzz of lively conversations make San Sebastián a must-visit destination for anyone who loves food, culture, and authentic local experiences.

    Great beachfront for jogging, walking or cycling. 3 different beaches. Nice walk/hike up Mt Urguell, ( museum is very interesting). Then up the Funicular to the fun park on the Ondarreta side. Got good recommendation for restaurants from the hosts but there’s amazing choice of pintxos. Parking is astronomical but there’s free parking on the outskirts. Beautiful churches throughout the city also and plenty of shopping opportunities for the girls.

    A superb place, if you know how to dodge the tourists!! The old town is good to visit, but you have to dodge the tourist restaurants; follow the locals! There are hundreds of restaurants outside the old town (some of them Michelin starred), so it pays to look around. (we, honestly, haven't had a bad meal yet---pricy, maybe). Superb beaches, well managed & clean. The aquarium is a very good visit as is the science museum, which is very interactive for the kids (up to 70+ years!!)

    Free parking, location was brilliant - 15 minutes walk to the beach and to a hub of restaurants/cafes. The old town/other side of san sebastian is busier. This location was quiet but still able to get to the action easily and quickly. Bus right outside the hotel was brilliant. Decent size room and clean. Swimming pool a bonus.

    Clean rooms with everything you need. Comfy bed & really relaxing being on the balcony after a day out. Although not in the old town we enjoyed walking through the gardens & along the beach from the hotel to the old town, got to see more of the area.
