Charming village, perfect location if you are visiting Vall Fosca region. We stayed at the top floor 3-bedroom apartment and we felt like at home. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful. I can recommend Hotel Arturo 100%.

The breakfast was superb! The room was exactly what we needed for a weekend at Pallars Subirá and Jaume was extremely friendly and accommodating. All in all, we had an amazing experience!

The room was so beautiful: a lot of space and a large window from floor to ceiling. Everything was done with love and as one would do in his/her own home. The view to the mountains is fantastic. There are a sofa, coffee table and a very large and comfortable bed in the room. The bathroom is big and very nice. The water is nice as it is mountain water, and the shower can be arranged as one wishes. Hairdryer, many towels, shampoo, soap, gel, and body lotions were in the bathroom too. We also found a small gift: a spa package (sponge, aromatic balm, lotion, shower gel and other things). Everything was super clean. The guest house is very tiny: there are only several rooms, but we could see other rooms when they were cleaned in the morning, and all looked beautiful and arranged for families with kids too. There is also a nicely decorated common room with TV and sofas where everybody could sit. The host couple was so hospitable that even though we arrived very late, they offered to prepare a dinner for us (not included in the room price, it was very cheap, 14 euros per person). The dinner was very good and very tasty, we could choose different kinds of meat, or chicken, or fish, traditional sausages, dessert and also the host invited us for a glass of traditional liqueur or wine (on our choice). The breakfast was included in the room price and was very good too: different sorts of hams, cheeses, local homemade bread, sweet pastries, jam, yoghurt, honey, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, cappuccino, and tea. We could not imagine that we got such a beautiful place with breakfast for such a good price. Wifi worked perfectly, and parking was free and safe just in front of the guest house. The host spoke Spanish and French with a little English, which was enough to understand each other. I highly recommend this place to couples and families.

We discovered an absolute treasure at Joan and his wife's home. Every detail reflects endless dedication - from the exceptionally comfortable, high-quality bedding to the delightful meals prepared with fresh ingredients from their own garden. Joan is the perfect host - warm and caring, he not only attended to our every need but also guided us through magical tours around Vall fosca. Even the cold, snowy weather added to the enchanting atmosphere. This isn't just accommodation - it's an authentic hosting experience that makes you feel truly at home. The staff were very helpful especially Albert on reception. We were left put our MOTORBIKE IN HIS PRIVATE GARAGE. Overall it was a lovely place, we had dinner on the property which was lovely. Also close to the village.

At the very arrival the staff made us feel very welcome, as if we have arrived home. Checking in before time was not a problem. They were flexible and helpful at every moment of our stay. Generous catalan breakfast, good coffee. Restaurant offers delicious meals, worth trying.
